January 6, 2018
Happy 2018! It’s hard to believe that 2017 is finally over. I think for many of us, it seemed like it would never end. I am hopeful that the new year will be a turning point in the studio and country! Looking back, last year was a good year professionally. I was in group exhibitions in Missouri, Kansas, Massachusetts, and New York. I had a semester sabbatical from teaching that allowed me to develop new mold concepts for my work, take classes at The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass, and continue to build my CAD skills by taking classes at CCC.
2018 looks to be busy too! I will be teaching woodfire workshops at the Eye of the Dog Art Center in San Marcos, Texas and will be teaching with my good friend, Doug Jeppesen, at the Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Stay warm everyone!
